9NEWS DENVER - A woman was formally charged on Wednesday,
accused of stealing more than $3
million fromher employer. The
Denver District Attorney's office says
34-year-old Jennifer Elaine Bundy
stole the money from a large oil and
gas drilling company over the course
of seven years. The charges claim that
Bundy, who was the payroll manager, creatednonexistent employees on the
payroll and had their wages directly
deposited to accounts set up and
controlled by her. The DA's office says
she used the identities of former
employees and atleast 25 fake
employees between 2001 and 2008 to
steal more than $3million from the
company. She was arrested Tuesday
and is in custody in the Denver County
Jail inlieu of $1 million bond. Bundy will
